They offered to deliver to our hotel room and to send plates and plastic cutlery since we were in a hotel. We ordered a regular crust pizza, a calzone, & Italian bread bites. The food was delicious. The crust was nice on the pizza and it had lots of toppings; no skimping. My husband enjoyed his calzone and the bread bites were fluffy and buttery. We highly recommend eating here! ”

There was even a younger staff member who was especially polite and respectful. They all went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Another thing we noticed — this place is immaculately clean. Honestly, it’s one of the cleanest restaurants we’ve been to in Holland in a long time, and that made the whole experience feel even more enjoyable and safe. The prices were very reasonable, making this a perfect spot for a quick, high-quality dinner. We’re already looking forward to coming back — next time for the pizza! “ We are from Grand Rapids and have tried about every pizza place in town. We come to Holland every year for vacation for a week and try a different pizza place. First time at Don Petrino's. 1) Ordered take out. Normally, I find pizza places aren't known for kindness on the phone. They take your order, could care less, and make your food. That's fine, I guess... But this was different. The woman who answered took the time to explain their menu, was not annoyed, and was very pleasant. 2) Pick up. They were well staffed. Everyone looked happy and busy either cooking, taking orders, or actively cleaning. 3) Food. The pizza and bread knots were amazing. Please don't take that lightly... They were AMAZING. We are very picky, and couldn't find a complaint at all. Everything was so fresh - from the dough (perfectly cooked), to the sauce, to the cheese. We traveled to Italy in 2019 and tried pizza across the country... This surpasses them all. 4) Thank you. We rarely leave reviews, but 6hrs after dinner, we are still thinking about it. It's not just pizza here, it's perfection. Dave would rate this a 9.4 (just saying) ”
